Little Jess is a selection of a naturally widespread Australian native with low water requirements.

A compact clumping ornamental plant similar in habit to a dwarf non-invasive bamboo. Glossy green foliage to approx 40cm with elevated bluish-purple flowers in spring followed by attractive purple berries.

USES: Mass planting, Japanese style gardens, accent plant, foliage and grassy gardens, low water requirements gardening.

POSITION: Tolerates a wide range of soils and climatic requirements. Suited to full sun as well as shady positions. Very hardy, exhibiting excellent drought and frost tolerance.
